Overview:
Thank you for your interest in advertising in Desert Christian
News. Desert Christian News is an independent non-profit
monthly Christian newspaper for the Coachella Valley.
It is distributed free through local churches, ministries
and businesses. The purpose of the newspaper is to
encourage communication and unity amongst all Christians
in the Desert Communities.
Frequency Discount: Frequency discounts are available for those who advertise on a consecutive,
extended basis. These discounts are 10% off for 3 months
and 20% off for six months or more. See rate table for
specific rates. If a multi-month ad is cancelled, the
client will be re-billed at the rate applicable for the number
of months run.
Payment:
Payment must accompany ad material. Clients advertising for multiple months
may qualify for credit terms. See your ad representative
for a credit application.
Deadline:
Ads should be received by the 15th of the prior month to assure publication
in the next issue. For better positioning and to
assure adequate ad space, send ads early.
Production Requirements: All
ads should be sent in an electronic format to
advertising@desertchristiannews.org.
We can accept files in Quark, PDF, TIF or JPEG.
If your ad is in some other format, please contact the
office to discuss. Our production staff can design
an ad for you to meet your specifications. All
artwork, logos or photos should be emailed to the address
above. All ads will be in black and white.
If you wish to run a color ad, that will be quoted on
an individual basis depending upon the number of colors
and location within the publication.
Policies: The
publishers reserve the right to reject any advertisement
that is not in keeping with the standards of the
publication.
Rate
Chart:
Following are some standard size rates.
The rates quoted are per issue. Non-standard
sizes will be quoted on an individual basis
depending upon the size of the ad. Discounts
are available for non-profit ministries and
new advertisers. Please call the office
to discuss. The following rates are
for black and white. There is a 20% color fee.
